The suites are on the top floor accessed via 100 steps or "the first registered lift" in Palermo! The ladies at reception were lovely & arranged a transfer to the airport for me. There were city maps ( not all places provide these ) and other info available & a great collection of books to browse through re: sights of Palermo. Breakfast outside on the terrace was amazing with a vast choice of drinks, sweet & savoury items which was individually prepared for you.

Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy an Italian breakfast in the bar next door to the property. Marco was fantastic and super friendly, he offered a pick-up service (at a really reasonable price, when compared to local taxis) from the airport to the bed and breakfast. He was willing to come after midnight, which was 100% dedication to helping his guests. The room was very clean and spacious and the breakfast offered with our room was very tasty. Thank you Marco!

Breakfast at the Family Affair features sweet and savoury food, with local specialities such as Sicilian cheese, honey and fresh fruit. Very attentive and thoughtful service. I was impressed with the attention to detail; I was traveling with a baby and the staff had a lovely crib, bottle warmer and sterilizer ready without needing to ask. When we arrived for breakfast, there was a table ready with a high chair for baby. Everyone was nice, patient and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Kala Rooms, a guest house, is a property located in Palermo. This guest house has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. The property is 1.3 km from Palermo Cathedral and 1.7 km from Palazzo dei Normanni. it was beautifully designed and the beds were amazing !
