Spacious and comfortable room with a great bathroom and separate WC. Our two windows were directly above the main street and we couldn't hear a thing ! The hotel also offers a fitness room and a sauna and relaxation rooms which was absolutely amazing. We didn't get the breakfast there but I'm sure the buffet would've been lovely too. The hotel is a short walk away from the city center and the surroundings are lovely, and it is very quiet at night We will definitely come back when visiting Salzburg.

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart
International Airport. Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus.
The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
Easy to walk around the old town area. So many little laneways to explore and to get from one main street to another. Enjoyed a concert at the castle and organ recital in the cathedral. Lots of musical events to attend. The Salzburg card was very useful and saves quite a bit of money if you are interested in exploring quite a few things.

I liked the most the Blue Line of the hop on, hop off bus, which allows visiting wonderful places around Salzburg, such as Konigssee and Hitler’s Eagles Nest. I also liked the public network of means of transportation, which was easy to use and there was no need for tickets as long as yoy had a hop-on, hop-off ticked or a Salzburg card.

Beautiful place with easy distance of walking and close to each other for visiting the sites of interest.
The place is clean and touristy.
Buy the Salizburg card and it includes almost every entrance to the sites.
Avoid eating cake in Furst shops. They are below average cakes.
Buy Mozzart chocolates at the Manner shops, they taste the same and costs less.

We came for the city sponsored run on Sunday; near packet pick-up on Saturday, they had a fantastic kids set-up with food and games (daughter learned to skateboard) and a kids run.
We drove out to the salt caves, about 20 minutes away. Very informative and fun (underground slides and boat ride).
We walked all over Salzburg, with the dog. Unfortunately, the bike lane along the river is against the grass side, where the dog prefers (and needs) to walk.
We didn't have time for other major site visits on this trip.

Salzburg is just beautiful.
Salzburg is just beautiful. You only need 2-3 days to explore but it's well worth a visit. The Hohensalzburg Fortress is a must see and will fill up a morning; whilst there is a funicular up to it (the walk is very steep), we took the elevator to Winkler Terrace and then walked along a clifftop walk to the fortress and were rewarded with the most spectacular views on the other side of the cliff. The Mirabelle Palace Gardens are also very scenic (famous as a filming location in the Sound of Music) and the view across the gardens to the fortress is spectacular.

Visited the Eagle's Nest, the Salt mines.
Visited the Eagle's Nest, the Salt mines. Attended a concert. The old city is fantastic for strolling and shopping.
The Fortress, St Peter's restaurant, the oldest restaurant in the world, and it has an excellent menu.
Getting around is easy. Uber, Taxi, bus.
Well located double-story room which was a nice overall stay in Salzburg. The service was kind and helpful. The room had two levels and was quite spacious for an old town hotel. The fold-out sofa was not ideal but this is common when accommodating four people. The breakfast had a nice range of food but was not as good as many other similar priced hotels throughout Europe. For a nice traditional Austrian meal, eat at the nearby Alter Fuchs. Overall, a nice, comfortable and convenient stay. I would revisit again.
Location. Easy to get to the hotel from the airport, just 10 mins with a direct bus. The bus stop is about 60m from the hotel and many buses passed through. While you can walk to the old town, I took the bus because it's very cold. Check-in and check-out process was fast, the staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean, bed was comfy. Bathroom works well. There's a coffee machine in the room. The hotel provided a kettle when I requested one as I don't drink coffee. Overall, a great place to stay in Salzburg.
The location is very good if you want to experience life in Salzburg, not a touristy place. This is a very Austrian hotel that has the old keys, but it does have a lift! The value is great, especially if you want to experience the Christmas Markets and walk to the city center, not far at all. Garage parking is very close and inexpensive because the hotel gives you a discount. There are several very good, local restaurants nearby and they're not overrun by tourists. I've stayed here several times over the years.
We specifically booked this hotel to visit the Stiegl Brewery. So the location was perfect. It was also easy to walk to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The Staff were especially helpful with the parking and ideas for dinner. Note that we were not visiting old town Salzburg but the walk was about 20 minutes which we ended up doing since we waited for the 2:00 English Tour at the Brewery. It was well worth the wait and we ate at the Italian restaurant, Osteria-Cavalli and found it very good.
The location in the old city was as perfect as you could get for Salzburg; and pretty much everything else about the hotel matched this for quality. The staff were all helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Our room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel building itself had the charm and character representative of Salzburg itself. We did not opt for the breakfast, but it looked great.
Very convenient hotel with parking and nearby the funicular and old town. The hotel staff were very nice at reception and provided clear instructions. The hotel rooms have AC, which worked well and were very necessary during the hotel summer. The rooms were also very clean, including the bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast spread (for an additional price) is very large.
It is located on a beautiful property with a spacious yard, big garden and amazing views.
It had free parking , an option to eat breakfast and excellent service from the owner.
The room was big with a balcony and decorated in Austrian style.
It is a little further out from the center of Salzburg but bus 22 stops super close to the hotel and takes you straight to Old Town in 20 minutes.
Very good accommodation close to the main railway station of Salzburg, some 30 min walk to the old town.
If check-in is later than 3pm, they provide all the information for self check-in. Some free parking slots available in front of the hotel, otherwise there are other parkings nearby. Very good breakfast, efficient wifi and comfortable rooms.
The apartment building is pretty new. We had a flat with a balcony. Self check-in was easy. The flat was very nice and well equipped. In a quiet area yet situated directly in the Old Town of Salzburg. We walked to every location from there.
There is a parking house right behind the hotel. Cost: 20 Euro per day. Definitely would stay there again.
I chose the Hotel for its proximity to the train station. Having lived in Salzburg I knew it was an easy walk to city center from there, and my memory had served me well. I was a student in 1977 and would walk past the Hotel Europa and look up at it in awe. It was a treat to return and actually stay there.
The location is a 15 min walk from the central train station, which was perfect for us. We kept it light and had only back-packs. The hotel itself is in the "new" part of Salzburg but don't let that make you think you are going to miss out on charm or beauty. There's so much within 100 feet of the front door.
I love that its just only 3-4min walk from central station! Its a well maintain building, we get to experience the original rustic Austria style of room. Staffs are very friendly too! A very nice walk along the river behind the hotel leading to the old town is another highlight.
Location is convenient for Salsburg train station but quite a lot of drunk people hanging about around there at night, not the nicest of locations but handy for station. 20 mins walk into Salzburg and 30 mins to old town. Hotel staff were friendly.
A quiet small hotel in the heart of Salzburg with a short walk to the Old Town. Rooms were clean with excellent facilities and very well furnished. Staff were very helpful with free coffee/tea available all day.
The hotel was literally next to Salzburg train station and shopping and Forum 1 shopping area.
Only 15 minutes walk to the Mirabel Garden and to city centre.
Only 25 minutes walk to the old city.
This hotel was just so lovely. The host is exceptional and the facilities are divine.
It’s down a gorgeous little street right in the heart of the Old Town of Salzburg. Highly recommend
It's conveniently located near train station which is great if you plan to explore not only Salzburg, but mountains near by. Overall comfortable hotel with fun interior design elements.
Good location with parking location -, friendly staff and good breakfast. Salzburg easily to be visited from the hotel by foot (even if you have to climb back to return to the hotel)
A modern hotel close to the old town of Salzburg. Rooms were small, but cozy. The access was easy, with a code that opened all doors. Nice design, comfortable bed, no street noise.
